guest post at frugal and thriving
I get a few emails about submitting guest posts at Frugal and Thriving. Well, I’m more than happy to accept guest posts.
As I’m always striving to create great content that will help the readers of Frugal and Thriving, guest posts are a great way to expand the knowledge base. And as the writer, you benefit by having links back to your blog or website and an expanded readership.
If you’re wanting to submit a guest post, please take a moment to read the guidelines below.
Guest Post Guidelines
- Articles should be at least 500 words long.
- Your post must be 100% original and not be posted anywhere else on the internet.
- Articles about frugal living, saving money, personal finance, and green/sustainable living are accepted. If you’re wanting to submit an article about a specific personal finance topic, please note that this site is Australian (so please no articles about 401ks for instance). ‘How to’ or evergreen articles are always popular. Well written, consice articles with useful information will be accepted.
- If you’re not sure if your article will be relevent, feel free to tell me about it before you start writing. I don’t want you to waste your time.
- Style, voice, headings etc are at your discretion (family friendly though please). I encourage the use of a picture(s). A link to an appropriate Flickr photo with a creative commons licence (attribution) is a great choice.
- Posts may be edited for spelling, grammar, clarity etc. Occasionally, I may ask you to rework part of an article.
- Please submit the article as either a document file (ie Word) or a text file.
- Feel free to include one or two relevant links in your post, but please don’t include affiliate links or links to spam sites.
- Please include a short by-line so that I help promote you and your blog. You can include up to two links in your by-line. If you would like to include a photo of yourself for your by-line, that’s great too. This by-line will appear at the end of the post. There will also be a paragraph at the beginning of the post introducing you and will also include a link to your site.
- If your post is approved, I will give you an idea of when the post will be published. Approved guest posts will be scheduled according to my editorial calendar.
