choc raspberry smoothie

Cocoa or cacao – what’s the difference? Well depending on what you read there’s all the difference in the world or none at all (except the price).
Some argue that cacao is the raw, anti-oxidant packed, makes-you-look-like-a-super-model stuff, while cocoa is heat processed, cheap rubbish. Others argue that all the hype is a bit of a beat up and it’s another case of English English v American English.
You choose.
Either way, they taste the same and adding a spoonful to a fruit smoothie makes for a delicious treat.
Ingredients
1 pear, roughly chopped
1 banana
handful of frozen raspberries
1 Tbsp. cocoa / cacao powder
1 Tbsp. honey
1 tsp. vanilla extract
3 Tbsp. yoghurt
1 tsp. chia seeds
1 1/2 cups filtered water
Method
Blend. Pour. Enjoy.

Yum, I’ve never thought of putting cocoa powder into a smoothie. I will definitely give this a go, being the chocoholic that I am
Do you use ground up chia seeds, or are whole ones fine?
I use whole ones – I didn’t know you could get them ground.
