SAVE MONEY AND TIME ON THE GROCERIES

When the kids were small, they gave their dad a basket full of his favorite treat foods. It was full of cheap stuff like cans of smoked oysters, sardines, cashews. Pepperoni sticks and a bag of beef jerky…you get the idea.
It was stuff we didn’t buy often.Basket was used again next year.
For me it was chocolate bars, little bottles of jams and jellies, etc.
For me the handmade things I would like are
Jumpers
Food Treats
Dress up a standard polo or shirt with a monogram
What I really want however are good tools so I can use them to do jobs around the house that will save money in the long run……….. Craft skills I enjoy.

Hi Kathryn, thanks, food always seems like a perennial favourite!
Hi Brian, thanks for letting us know what men like to get!! Now, if it would encourage DH to get to the jobs around the house, I would buy tools too…

http://www.instructables.com/id/Altoids-Sours-BBQ-Grill/ Ladies and gentleman i give you the mini BBQ, soooo cute. I love the way each guy had to better the last. LOL Frugal, fun and something the guys can brag about after Christmas and at all the New Years get togethers. “Mine is smaller then yours” LOL Break out the marshmallows I say.
Just found this wonderful, frugal and very sentimental and meaningful idea. Enjoy
